♻️ We prioritize and celebrate events every year that support a sustainable and healthy lifestyle - actively encouraging students to participate in efforts to protect and preserve our planet.
🌼Thanks to this Erasmus+ project, a "Sustainability Club" has been set up in our Gymnasium. “Sustainability Club” organizes various events about sustainability, e.g. competition between classes to find out which class is the most sustainable and so on.

🌍 Our school proudly celebrates Earth Day each year on the 22nd of April. This day serves as a powerful reminder and an opportunity to heighten awareness about the environment.
🚴 Car free day takes place every year on September 22nd. This day is filled with enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, all opting for greener modes of transportation. Be it through cycling, scooting, skateboarding, or simply walking, our school community sets an example by choosing environmentally conscious ways to commute to school.

💧 Water Day at school is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of water conservation and sustainability. This event includes various activities, experiments, presentations, and workshops to educate students on how they can help protect this precious resource.
🎮 Our school also takes part in a project made by the goethe institut. Our students get to design a virtual climate neurtal city, debate, represent their needs, and come up with compromises together.

🎨 By incorporating art into promoting sustainability at school, we inspire students to think more critically about their impact on the environment and empower them to make positive changes in their daily lives.

This event had three stages - we participated in first two of them:
1️⃣ 1st Stage: practical task. All students of the sustainability club had to put up 20 posters and stickers onto the recycling bins around the school and city. The students had to find creative ways to encourage recycling in school, so we made bins for paper out of boxes and handed them out to teachers. And we had to perform 5 presentations in our and other schools.
2️⃣ 2nd Stage: semifinals. Only a group of 6 people could continue. The task was to participate in a real-time quiz online. Me and other people, who are participating in the Erasmus+ project aswell, were chosen to be in this group, but sadly, our score wasn't high enough to pass this stage.
